SELECTED WORKS
1. Our Aesthetic Categories
December 2024
Perfect-bound book
5.5x9 Inch
Typography 3
I typeset a chapter of Sianne Ngai’s Our Aesthetic Categories, where she explores postmodern cultural phenomena such as the zany, the cute, and the interesting, offering a theory of the aesthetic categories that help people navigate the hyper-commodified, mass-mediated, performance-driven world of late capitalism. In this version of the book, I also included an interview with a classmate, discussing their personal design ethos and aesthetic values. This project allowed me to develop my bookmaking skills, experimenting with silhouettes, halftone, and monochrome design.

2. Chess of Lettered Entities
December 2025
Chess board
13x13 Inch
CSP Typographic Study
Lettered Entities explores the appearance of type in every day life. It is a project that did not
prioritize the perfection of an end product, but rather a worthy learning experience. Hammett Nurosi guided us through a process that he went through back in architecture school, involving hands-on experience with model-making with different types of materials.

The College Hill Independent is a Providence-based publication written, illustrated, designed, and edited by students from Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design. After going through the application process, I joined as a designer to work alongside students. My goal as a designer is to bring the writer’s vision to life.

4. Sounds Into Memories
July 2024
Perfect-bound book
8.5x8.5 Inch
Volume 1
Sounds Into Memories is a personal project that allowed me to explore the intersection of music and design while learning the basics of InDesign. The book showcases a collection of bands and artists whose music resonates with me, offering a visual narrative that captures the emotions and stories behind their sounds. Through this project, I also gained hands-on experience with the process of preparing my work for publication, from design to sending it off to a printing company, deepening my understanding of the entire production process.

5. Sweets by Chobani
April 2025
Branding project
Design Studio 4
Chobani was not satisfied with their sales made by their newest line of yogurt where they tried to embrace little treat culture. In this assignment, I created a cohesive rebranding of “Chobani Delights” into “Sweets by Chobani”. The goals of this project were to keep the system similar to match Chobani’s other lines of yogurt, while making it seem more high-end and standout-ish compared to the other competing yogurt brands on the supermarket shelves.

6. The World Through Words Boardgame
December 2025
Board game
10x10 Inch
Typographic Multiverse
After reading An Animist Manifesto by Graham Harvey, Zimo and I were inspired by the thought of how typography and language can be alive. In our board game The World Through Words, players embody new languages that are navigating the world. Based on event cards and land tiles, there are different environmental and social factors that may play into their generative story.

7. TGraphics Zine
October 2024
Zine
5x6 Inch
This zine briefly explores the history of Jun Takahashi’s work while showcasing his graphic t-shirt designs for his brand. One of the unique challenges of this shor term project was the restriction of not using any Adobe software, which led me to explore alternative methods for creating the design. I hand-carved stamps to imprint the cover and backside, incorporating a lot of time consuming, handcrafted elements that gave the zine a unique, personal touch. This project taught me how to navigate difficult obstacles and find creative solutions, resulting in a piece that reflects both craftsmanship and meaningful design.

8. Brown Esports Team Merchandise
Ongoing Branding Project
Brown Esports Club
In this self-directed project for the Brown University Esports Team, I have developed a system of stickers with their “gaming Bruno” mascot. These stickers were made to help with the club’s funding, providing players to enter in tournaments and have the opportunity to buy team jerseys. This project was not asked to be made by any of the club presidents, but rather for my love of the community that I have befriended for the past years at RISD. These stickers are hand drawn, hand-printed, hand-cut, and hand-packaged.
